Forest Learning

Whispering Oaks Cabins are located in such a great environment for learning and exploring, we decided to provide something interesting and unique for our guests. So in Spring 2008, we started FOREST LEARNING.

On designated weekends, we offer guided hikes or creative classes taught exclusively to guests at Whispering Oaks Cabins by experts in the field. Plan on a minimum two-night stay in one of our unique cabins (see Forest Leaning Cabin Rates below) and bring along curiosity, willingness and an open-mind for learning! The schedule for each weekend is slightly different. If you would like more information please call us (814) 744-8193 or e-mail us through our contact page.

'Tails & Trails'

DATE: August 22 - 24, 2008 OR DATE: September 19 - 21, 2008

Along the way, you will learn about the area history and some special things that make our forests unique. No additional charge for hikes; $10/night pet fee applies.
